Going North

Monday, July 21 we went riding on the trail by the beach.  We had rain this weekend which has caused more humidity.  The waves are bigger and when we saw this sign, we wanted to keep the memory.
Interviews are scheduled for the next few weeks.  Instead of meeting missionaries at the church in their zones, we are visiting with them in each of their apartments.  This takes for a lot of driving.  The zone leaders put together the schedules.  Tuesday we were in San Luis Obispo and went to 10 apartments, meeting with 20 missionaries.  Today we were in Santa Maria and went to 8 apartments, meeting with 16 missionaries.
It has been nice seeing where they all live and in what conditions.
We stayed by Pismo Beach Monday night because interviews began on Tuesday at 8:00 a.m.  We asked for recommendations for places to eat.  This was a winner.  It was fun talking to people waiting in line as well as those sitting by us.  People come back to this cafe year after year.  Clam Chowder is the best.  We had some of that in a bread bowl and salmon tacos.  I see why there are lines and people return.
These pictures are inside the restaurant.
