Spring has Sprung

Looking down Crestwood from in front of the mission home.
Looking up the street towards Foothill.
Last Saturday (6th) President married Salvador and Maria.  She was baptized a few months ago.  Salvador had a change of heart and listened to the lessons and decided to be baptized.  They got married at 10:00 and his baptismal service was at 10:20.

Hermana Hurley was a witness, Hermana Ricks gave the opening prayer, Hermana Griffes was a witness, and Hermana Cuevas gave the closing prayer.  President Felix, Salvador, Maria, her daughter and the Hernandez family.  The older son in the back returned from his mission in Roseville (where the Marsdens are serving) and the younger son on the right is preparing for a mission.
The wedding was held in the High Council room at the Ventura Stake Center.
My first home grown, freshly eaten grapefruit.  The Cooks dropped off some fresh fruit which included kumquats.  That's a first taste for us. We've shared with others who have come by because I think kumquats are not a common fruit that people have tried.  You eat peeling and all.  I thought it was too sour.
